Standards of Operation regarding Deposits and consultations
NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS REQUIRED FOR ALL APPOINTMENTS
Initial Consultation:
An initial consultation with the artist where you discuss the tattoo idea, design preferences, placement, size, and any specific details included.
During this consultation, Artists will take notes and possibly rough sketches to capture the essence of what you want.
- Deposit Collection: Once you come in , be prepared to have a NON REFUNDABLE cash only designing/drawing deposit . This deposit is non-refundable and should cover the artists time spent on the design and as a commitment from the client. The deposit amount will go towards the final cost of the tattoo. If there are multiple sessions the deposit will be used on the very last session only.
- Design Development: Based on the consultation, artists will create a detailed design proposal or sketch. This should be enough to convey your artistic interpretation of their idea without revealing the entire design.
- Approval Process: a second meeting or appointment for you to come in and review the design in person or in some cases , same day approval and adjustments can be made the day the tattoo is being done (if its small adjustments. ) More complex changes may require another appointment date set if needed.
After Taking Deposit
- Booking the Tattoo Session: Once the deposit collected and the design is approved , we will schedule the tattoo appointment. Making note of any final adjustments or changes agreed upon during the approval meeting.
- Protecting The Design: All original designs are intellectual property of Texas Body Art and will not be used without prior permission. We will not text or email our original designs to risk having it taken somewhere else to tattoo.
- Client Communication: Throughout the process, we aim to maintain clear and open communication with the client. Address any concerns they may have about the process or the design.
- Getting the Tattoo Finally! Tattoo time …. On the night before your scheduled appointment for your tattoo it is very important to get plenty of liquids and rest. On the day of your tattoo please have a nice meal so that your blood cells are filled with proper energy to maintain your level of endorphins, this in turn makes your tattoo a little more comfortable for you and the artist.
POLICY FOR CANCELING OR RESCHEDULING
IF THERE IS AN ISSUE LET THE STUDIO KNOW 24 HOURS before scheduled apt or you risk losing your deposit. No Call No Show will be automatically forfeited the day of appointment and a new deposit will be required to proceed.
If you need to move your date just contact the studio prior to your tattoo date or 24 hours in advance.
TRANSFERRING DEPOSITS

This outlines our consultation and deposit process, that insures all parties involved are considered and respected. Thank you for seeking out Texas Body Art for quality and service. We aim to go beyond to create your amazing tattoos! TEXAS BODY ART 2024
Just because you choose a date here does NOT “guarantee everyone an appointment” on the date you choose, but it does set you up with the artist of your choice and get the ball rolling for a consultation.
Clients will still have to come into the studio for a personal one on one consult with the artists BEFORE THE TATTOO DATE.
We will NOT communicate art or ideas we design in email or texts.
