Texas Body Art is an esteemed tattoo parlor in Houston with a rich 27-year history, prioritizing the highest standards of safety in all of our tattooing and piercing.
That means single-service needles, disposable ink caps, and artists thoroughly trained in identifying Blood Borne Pathogens. We cover every surface with barrier films and safety covers — sterilization records and Health & Safety certificates are available on request.
The majority of our work is personalized artwork created by our in-house artists. We treat and call our clients by name — not "canvases," not "fans." We cultivate an atmosphere free from drama, drugs, firearms, racial motifs or gang affiliations.

What we do — and won't do
The Do's
- Walk-in tattoo services for anyone 18+ with valid state-issued ID
- Free walk-in tattoo consultations
- Appointments for custom tattoo services
- Custom original designs built to last
- Clean, up-to-date methods and the safest products on the market
- Full compliance with the Texas State Health Department
- Aftercare treatment & guidance
The Don'ts
- No tattoos under 18 — with or without a parent. Valid state ID required
- No work on anyone pregnant or under the influence of drugs/alcohol
- No gang, racial or hate symbols
- No faces, heads or hands under 25 (unless you have a sleeve / multiple visible tattoos)
- No satanic or "number of the beast" designs
- No white-outline tattoos, palms or bottoms of the feet
- No free touch-ups on fingers, feet or hands. We don't sell ink or needles to the public
